Manager / Sr. Manager – Engineering / New Product Development

  • Conceptualization, Development & Implementation of New Products & Project related to sheet metal & machining and responsible for New product development.
  • Preparing Check Sheet to meet aerospace requirements at different stages of inspection like RM PO placement, RM receipt, Machining, Material handling, Packing of parts, preparing Quality documents etc to make it 100% full proof method.
  • Selection of cutting tools, process planning for Aerospace industry
  • End to end responsibility of NPD project and accountable for increasing profitability and achieving business objectives
    • Carry out feasibility study for new parts
    • Machining of Materials such as Aluminium & Steel for Aerospace industries.
    • Finalize the type of fixture required as per the process and machine
    • Finalize the process for FAI & prove the part
  • Adept in Process planning comparison, Selection & trials of new tools for various processes.
  • Adapt various quality control systems (SPC, FMEA, and PDCA).
  • If necessary selection of CNC Machines for new projects, Programming and Application. (CNC Turning ,Milling ,Boring ,Drilling, Broaching ) is required.
  • B.E/B.Tech with 14 - 18 yrs in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with industrial experience in new product development / manufacturing engineering
  • Good knowledge of sheet metal processes like routing, stretch forming, rubber forming, bending etc.,
  • Expertise in reading engineering drawings
  • Knowledge on Auto cad, Catia V5
  • Familiar with PPAP, FMEA, PFMEA, Cp-Cpk Studies, Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Good Knowledge in AS 9100 `C' Certification.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methods
  • Good communication and analytical skill is essential

Ensure maintenance of aircraft and certification for that maintenance is in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and manufacturers stipulations and the requirements of the Company Procedures Manual Vol 3.

Supervision of unlicensed engineers and apprentices for whose work he certifies.

Provide leadership and coordination to aircraft maintenance jobs.

Will be willing to occasionally stand in for the Maintenance Managers position by prior arrangement.

Good teamwork skills and understanding of work pack administration

CASA licenses in the following catagories (minimum): Airframes 1, Engines 1

Good communication skills

General Aviation maintenance experience.
